Nancy moved around a lot as a child with her family, and eventually settled in Des Moines. While in Des Moines, she was introduced to her husband Don “Dion”, by his cousin and her best friend, Kathy. Nancy and Don married on April 2, 1976, and started a family soon after; Reianna, 1977, Melanie, 1979 and Jon, 1983. They moved to Dysart in 1989. While being a full time homemaker, Nancy worked as a CNA until she became a grandma. She decided to stay home and help with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her life and she was so proud of all of them.
