Brandon Lee Harkrider

Brandon, 27 of Cedar Falls passed away due to a self-inflicted wound.

Brandon was born Sept 21, 1994 to Dave and Shelly Harkrider. Brandon enlisted in the Army after graduating from East High school. He served our country for almost 9 years.

Brandon is survived by his daughter Evie of Texas and 1 baby on the way in Fort Dodge. His parents Dave and Shelly of Waterloo. He has 4 siblings, Hailey of Waterloo, Kyle of Waterloo, Lindsey(George) of Dike and Danielle of Waterloo. His grandparents Earl  and Teri of Waterloo and Judy of Palm Coast Florida. He has 3 uncles and an aunt, Mike of Evansdale, Nikki (Tracy) of Florida, Tommy of Waterloo and Scott. He has 1 niece and 7 nephews.

Proceeded in death by a maternal grandpa, his Popo and a paternal grandmother.

Brandon loved his niece and nephews and would often spend time playing with them when he was home on leave or when he returned home from the Army. Brandon loved his military family as much as his blood family.  He was easy going and made people smile no matter where he was or what the situation was.
